Guests arrived, had their red carpet paparazzi moment, and partied at Avalon.

After the Goodfellas finished their energetic set, they ended with Adele’s someone like you…
As they sang, the butlers handed out helium balloons with M&M chocs tied to the string-end.
Such a mad cheesy romantic moment… But oh God… I LOVE IT!!!!

When I have a free say to the floral decorations, it’s usually a no brainer… My fav Callas!

My highlight of the night?
My boss turning up for my event for the first time, patting me on my back saying, ‘Good job!’.

Never thought that could feel so good. Haha

And they loved it!

Everyone has more than $70+ worth of coupons. Yes. Say OMG.
But we brought in sparkling water, wine, beer etc, so mostly spent on drinks.

and a cute lil fan in case they are feeling warm, to dress it up a little.

The DJ console behind is the crux! The guests really partied hard.
It’s the first time I had ever seen people dancing on the table top in a hawker. haha

Oh! And I finally watched Bruce Lee’s Fist of Fury because we played it on loop there. haha

It was an Amazing night!

It’s one day before my event, and am up to my eyeballs busy.
BUT, I promised myself that I will try to strike some balance to enjoy the little things in life.
So when I saw the article about 2228 孔明灯 being lit up a ArtScience Museum,
I told myself I must definitely go and take a look, even for just a little while!

As I was running out of the office at 10.30pm (it ends at 11pm!!),
my colleague who heard about what I was up to laughed and said,
‘You should go work in Disneyland!’

Heh. I don’t get it when people tell me they are immune to these ‘stuff’ and whatnot,
because they’ve seen too much of it… Especially when we’ve seen ALOT doing events.
I enjoy these ‘fluff’ and my heart does a little dance every time I see a pyro/light-up/whatever!
It’s just the excitement, and sense of occassion that makes me smile like a silly girl.

This happiness I get each time is what fuels my passion for my work leh!

ANYWAY, my feelings got cheated BIG TIME!
Then again, how could I have been stupid enough to think they would be air-littering!
But instead of 228 floating Kong Ming lantern, they put a spinning LED light,
and a helium balloon under the lantern to mke it light up and float!!!! *face palm*

Good thing Jiel decided to join me, and I at least could call it a meaningful night,
walking down Marina Bay, and spending some QT to catch up on each other’s life.

It’s a good night afterall.

Ever since I dedicated my saturdays to sending sis for tuition at noon,
she had decided to follow me when I go for church in the evening.

But this weekend, we held our breath and decided to ask mom for easter Sunday!
The plan was that Jassy and I would both invite our moms who are non-believers,
and our sisters who have been attending service but have yet to answer altar call.

It went perfectly since her mom and mine speak the same language,
and somewhat tune in to the same channel, so they hit it off pretty well.
It was my mom’s first time hearing about The Truth and The Good News.
Normally, she wouldn’t have given anyone the opportunity to finish the story.
But as this was a drama production, she sat through it and finally heard the story!

Then the most amazing thing happened… BOTH OUR SISTER ANSWERED THE ALTAR’S CALL!!!

Jassy and I are delighted. Praise the Lord!

I love Aussino’s big fluffy towels, and they just released a new disney princess design series!
I was torn for abit on which towel to buy… Sleeping beauty? Little Mermaid or… BELLE!!!

My favourite disney princess is Belle because she falls in love with her heart and nothing else.
Blind like a bat, like me, except she’s luckier. Her beast turned out to be a handsome dude. Haha

Simple things that make me smile and happy the whole day. ^_^ v

Rare day that I knocked off on time… so decided to make my own dinner! ^_^
Yummy pumpkin porridge!

Got Pek to squeeze out a slot for Dydy on Saturday afternoon at his uber busy tuition centre,
and decided to go and take a look to make sure all is fine and well for her. It is. ;P
Yen came by to pick me up for lunch while Dydy had her tuition.
Coz she was late, I galavanted around and chanced upon a florist, so… hehe…

We went back to drop lunch for Pek, pick up my sis and yen sent us down to town.
I’ve decided on saturday evening church service, and there was a fair bit of time before,
so Sis and I found a nice spot at TCC to do our work while waiting for service to begin.

Later, Jas met us to join us for service together.
Awesome service going back a little in time to talk about the church’s beginning,
the upcoming year’s vision and encourage us to work towards it together…

We were all really excited by this box!

It’s the year for building our relationships, so alot of pretty post cards to get us started.
Jas and I used to pass postcards to each other e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y and seeing it made me laugh.
I could certainly use some encouragement to spend more time building my friendships.
Afterall I’ve been pretty much swimming in my work, so social life’s really suffering.

Here’s to a better 2012, to a great Awesome year ahead of building relationships! xoxo

We headed over to Duxton, just 2 streets away, to Etna for some Italian…

I absolutely love love love love love Bufala Caprese salad!

It didn’t even really matter what I had next coz this was really all I cared about.
But yea… I remember I had a great time, and a jolly tummy after, so I’ll say…

It was Awesome!
